Jakarta World Cinema is an international film festival that showcases the finest works of world cinema, while also serving as a meeting point for filmmakers, communities, and film enthusiasts. With its diverse film selection, the festival provides a platform for both seasoned directors and emerging voices to screen their works and engage in meaningful discussions.

From heartfelt dramas and gripping horrors to thought-provoking documentaries and exciting animations, JWC’s lineup offers a wide range of cinematic experiences—for everyone!

In addition to film screenings, JWC also features post-screening Q&A sessions, panel discussions, masterclasses, and film competitions. These programs provide valuable opportunities for filmmakers and audiences alike to exchange ideas, collaborate, and learn from one another.

    This short movie competition is open to the public! Prepare your work and showcase your creativity in a competition that will be judged by renowned filmmakers.

    As part of Road to Jakarta World Cinema 2025 dan KlikFilm Short Movie Competition, JWC visited five cities—Surabaya, Bandung, Depok, Jember, and Malang—to conduct filmmaking workshops in collaboration with filmmakers such as Yosep Anggi Noen, Daryl Wilson, Alim Sudio, Loeloe Hendra, and Razka Robby Ertanto.

    This event is supported by JWC 2025 Campus Partners—Dynamic Cinema Festival, Ganesha Film Festival, UI Film Festival, UNEJ Film Festival, and Brawijaya Film Festival.
