Adi, a mosque caretaker, is troubled by the fact that the mosque is only crowded during worship services and then empty of young people. He tries to make it an open space for gathering and learning, but is strongly opposed by parents who believe the mosque should remain sacred and confined to worship. His efforts spark intergenerational conflict, putting Adi in danger of losing his position. Under pressure, he must choose between submitting to tradition or defending the changes he believes in, even at the risk of rejection from his own community.
