Saiful, a widower with one child, has just started working as the caretaker of Mbah Wolong's grave. One day, a pilgrim whose wish remains unfulfilled begins to suspect that the grave's supernatural powers are nothing but a hoax. The accusation spreads among the villagers, creating public doubt and eventually leading to the exhumation of Mbah Wolong's grave to uncover the truth.
